Snake Oil Sold As Cancer Cure, FTC Says

•  Breaking Legal News     updated  2008/09/18 09:38

James Franklin Clark and his daughter, Carrie Ann Hatcher, sell snake oil on the Internet, charging as much as $508 a month for "All Natural Cancer Therapy" that "prevents, treats and cures all forms of cancer," the FTC says in Federal Court.

Clark runs his scam through linked Web pages that direct customers to send their orders to his Louisville home, the FTC says.

His daughter does the same thing out of her home, the Commission says. They charge up to $508 a month for their stuff, some of which is Laetrile, the FTC says.
